My Story

Twenty years ago, I weighed 285 pounds.
I’d tried every diet — counted calories until food lost all joy, cut carbs, cut fat, lived on shakes. Every time I lost a few pounds, I gained them back and more. I blamed myself. I thought I just didn’t have what it takes.

Then I found an approach that actually worked. I lost 120 pounds — and I’ve kept it off for 20 years.

But here’s what I didn’t expect: I hit my late 40s, and the rules changed overnight. The strategies that kept me lean for decades suddenly needed adjusting. My energy dipped, my body responded differently to foods that never used to be an issue. It was a wake-up call — staying lean at 30 is a completely different game than thriving at 50.

Why I Built This Community
That experience sent me back to the research. I became a qualified Nutrition Specialist and developed an approach built specifically for this stage of life. But a book only gives you the map — life happens between the pages. That’s why I created this community: so you’d have someone in your corner when it counts.

I’ll be honest — I can’t personally experience menopause. But I’ve spent years working closely with women navigating exactly this stage.
